Originally from Lisburn, near Belfast, I first moved to Dundee for university and have made Monifieth my home. My professional background is in primary school teaching, but my true passion has always been endurance sport.
While teaching, I spent years coaching at Monifieth Triathlon Club. This experience ignited my curiosity: how can we optimise training, introduce people to sport safely, and most importantly, prevent injuries?
Following these interests, I built a complementary set of skills—becoming a Sports Therapist alongside my role as an Endurance Coach. I have competed in demanding events like Ironman, Celtman, and endurance mountain bike races, so I deeply understand the physical and mental toll training takes.
My goal is simple: to get you to the finish line, whether that's a race, recovery from an injury, or simply reaching a new personal best. I absolutely love seeing people achieve what they didn't think was possible, supported by both smart coaching and focused recovery.
